Our organization was founded by Michael McCauley when he fought his way through a brain tumor in 2004. Michael survived that but lost his battle to leukemia in 2020. We continue his work to help children battling life-threatening illnesses, by providing toys and games that help families endure long hospital stays.

Marcie received over $7,000 in birthday fundraiser donations from our generous donors, to fund this special project.

Since 2004, Boredom Busters has delivered over 8,000 Boredom Busters boxes and bags to hospitals all over the US East Coast, including Johns Hopkins, Duke Medical Center, Childrens' Hospital of Washington, Long Island Jewish and Fairfax Inova Hospital. Ronald McDonald Houses across the contry are one of our favorite beneficiaries.

Through your generosity, we have raised over $200,000 since April 2020. We have delivered over 3,000 boxes to 60 hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. After a brief rest in January, we are now hard at work again.

The NIH has been doing groundbreaking research for 50+ years, and provide dedicated services to young children fighting cancer and other diseases. We are thrilled to contribute in a small way to their mission.

Our tax returns show our financial results: how much we have raised and where it is spent. Our donors can be confident that almost everything Boredom Busters receives goes to the kids we serve.
